Pictryp is a long-term photo project, which means photographers may join us for a while then continue their  study of light elsewhere.


Ellie Kozlowski lives in Seattle and doesn’t drink coffee. She loves love, activism, vegetarian cuisine, yoga, and literature. In 2010, she participated in a photography project called Snapped Syntax, where she posted one photograph every day, side-by-side with Amaris Ketcham, as documentation of one year in the life of two artists.

Ryan Bowles has been taking photography seriously for about three and a half years now. Besides photography, he enjoys video games, board games, and being happy. Ryan is currently seeking his BFA in photography at Eastern Kentucky University, after which he plans on going to graduate school.

Ryan resides in Lexington, KY, and is happily married to his highschool sweetheart Leanna.
